Wild Twins

Speak on behalf of the wild.

ABOUT WILD TWINS?

WIld Twins is a participatory art project inviting people to speak on behalf of the natural world. Through this project, participants become “whisperers” for a chosen species or natural element, giving voice to what is often overlooked or silenced.

In a world increasingly disconnected from nature, Wild Twins reminds us that the wisdom of the wild is still present if we are willing to listen. By choosing a species, listening, and sharing its message, you help to amplify nature’s whispers, offering guidance, resilience and hope for humanity.

Whether it’s the call of a bird, the flow of a river, or the stillness of a forest, every part of nature has something to teach us. Through your whisper, you act as a bridge between the human and the more-than-human world, fostering a deeper connection to the Earth’s living beings. . .

  1. Choose a Species: Select a species or element of nature that calls to you — whether it’s an animal, plant, insect, river, mountain, or otherwise.

  2. Become a Wild Twin: Practice relating to and bonding with that species. Learn what wisdom or message this species wants to share with you and, through you, with the world.

  3. Submit Your Whisper: Write a short message (100-150 words) on behalf of your chosen species and share it with us. You can also submit an image that shows your connection to the species.
